FEATHER ANIMATION
| |
- Ruby Carvers
- Ruby Carvers consist of genuine rubies bonded
to a metal form. Ruby carvers are long lasting and resistant to
clogging. Ruby carvers remove wood with or against the grain and
leave a relatively smooth wood finish. All
ruby carvers have a 3/32" shaft. Ruby carvers are one of
the most popular rotary cutters used by wood carvers.

- Ceramic Cut Blue Stones
-
- Ceramic Cut Blue Stones were introduced with the wood carver
in mind. Ceramic Cut Blue Stones are ideal for wood carving applications
such as pre-texturing, feathering and finish texturing. Ceramic
Cut Blue Stones maintain their shape and hold their edge longer
than other abrasive stones. Ceramic Cut Blue Stones run cooler,
faster, and last longer on wood.

Typhoon Burs
- Typhoon Burs are great for "hogging" or rapid removal
of large amounts of wood for the wood carver. Typhoon Burs have
"structurally aligned" carbide points that are bonded
to the head in uniform parallel rows. This provides faster wood
removal, a smoother finish and less "clogging" than
with randomly placed points. Typhoon burs are easy to clean with
a brass bristle brush if they do get clogged.
